Matthew RecordMatthew specialises in the client relationship management process, from complex, cross-departmental pitches through to supporting day-to-day account management. He has direct experience developing business information systems, developing targeted marketing communications, running "crown jewel" client programmes and managing key client accounts.

Recent projects Matthew has led include bid improvement, client and post-transaction feedback, sales training, marketing audits and strategic planning. He recently helped a major UK law firm save £200,000 in profit margin during the fee negotiation stage of their panel process.

He held senior positions within the professional services sector at Herbert Smith, GVA Grimley & CPA Global. In the commercial sector, Matthew spent four years managing the key accounts and service development of several new products for HSS Hire plc, Europe's largest and most profitable tool and equipment rental company.

Matthew has a Management Sciences degree from the University of St. Andrews and a Diploma in Marketing from Sheffield University. He is also a Chartered Marketer.

Liz van Hüllen

Liz Van HüllenLiz specialises in the development of strategic marketing plans which incorporate positioning, client communication, business development and cross-selling. She has a well-regarded ability to initiate creative marketing activity to support strategic plans and manage campaigns from execution, to follow-up and measurement of return. Over more recent years she has built particular knowledge within the corporate finance field.

She has undertaken projects within the accountancy and legal sectors and has held senior positions at Berwin Leighton Paisner and Grant Thornton. Liz has been responsible for a highly successful cross-selling programme, a targeted campaign which generated leads into the mid-corporate market, has managed ongoing client communication programmes and worked with fee-earners to improve their pitch performance.

Liz’s marketing career spans 15 years within business-to-business organisations such as Reed Elsevier, Thomson Corporation and Cendant plc. She is a chartered direct marketer and has an Executive MBA from Birmingham Business School.
